Hey Presto: Main Segment 2
I had the same issue with this piece i am not sure if it was to do with the length of the animation itself or something else entirely but i do have the stop motion bare without the drawings over the top. This was the hardest piece to create as the duration was the longest and each from being drawn over took a long time, it was easier with the graphics tablet though that was a big help. It was a very handy tool to have when trying to do something different with the animation. Though it does not have the drawings over the top which i am annoyed about, i am still okay with how the stop motion looks like itself. I know there was not suppose to be a chair in shot but as i have explained keeping the model upright was very difficult even with the wire skeleton that was created for the model. I think the models work well with the background and the effects used do give the animation a nicer aesthetic than what was first created. I'm glad that i created this in stop motion as i think that the quality looks a lot better then cut-out animation.
Hey Presto: Main Segment 1
In the video below you will the stop motion of the 1st major segment that needed animating to complete the story. What you will also notice is that it does not follow the same style as the video before. this is due to an error when exporting in adobe animator, the stop motion by itself tells the story but i am annoyed that this has happened as the time it took to draw over every frame was extremely tedious. I did however still have the stop motion animation edited on premier in which i will have to submit without the drawing over the top, i hope this does not effect my markings for my referral but i will have to wait and see.
Hey Presto: Telephone Animation
Below you will find one of the simpler animations which is the telephone that was needed to incorporate a voice over. I decided to make the animation itself look cartoon as i thought kit matched the demographic that the film was aiming for. This animation was created using a few motion tween's and classic tween's using the graphics tablet to draw out the extra detail. I am happy with this animation this was definitely the easiest of the animations but serves its purpose for the story, overall i am happy with the outcome.
Hey Presto: Cockroach Animation
In this animation i was suppose to include this animation into the live action media i caught whilst as camera - op in Janice's team. But as i did not have the film i decided to give another blank background colour as an example to show how the animation would look. I created this animation again using adobe animate drawing a few different types of the cockroaches and then copying them onto different layers then creating key frames in order to make them follow a clear path in the multiple motion tween's i would then have to make to give each roach there own path.
Again i am happy with the way this one turned out, i did take the finished animation into premiere to clean up some of the sticky bits but overall i am happy with the outcome of this adobe animation. I would like to see what it would look like incorporated into the live action film that i captured earlier in the module.

Hey Presto: Pixie Animation
In the animation that you will find below you will find a stop motion that has been then took into adobe animator to create a cool looking effect. This took quite a lot of time as i wanted the stop motion to stand out, as i was intentionally going to create this part in cut out but i found this to look a lot more professional than cut out, I am very pleased with the out come and was happy to be able to incorporate different forms of multi media to create a more unique looking piece than just the use of stop motion on its own.
The backgrounds used were created out of cardboard and created a more three dimensional looking aesthetic. I much rather prefer this look better out of the cut out before hand.
As you can see from above the materials that were used was wire to use for the skeletons of the characters in which i did have trouble with the girl because of the larger structure, she seemed to fall over a lot in which i decided to incorporate a chair which i hope is not to bad as i was struggling to find a way of keeping her stable without breaking the illusion of the animation. I also used a variety of colours of clay that i used to craft the characters. You will also notice that i have not drawn on or included any of the faces as i knew that i was going to add these post production using adobe animate. I am happy with the way this bit of animation turned out and liked this technique the was used throughout the animation process.

Hey Presto: Toast Animation
With the next animation i have the scene in which toast is suppose to fall from above which i was at first was going to make using cut out but instead decided to do it using adobe animate. i think it has turned out well, i then moved the animation into premier to clean it up a bit in which you will find the finished product below, this was suppose to be put over the top of the live action footage but as i could not gain access to it with the animation i have gave a blank background grey colour as an example.
As you can see above it is a smooth animation using motion tween's as well as the tablet used to draw the images themselves. as this was a small animation i was happy with the outcome though i would like to see how it will look over the live action footage i captured for the film.

Hey Presto: Opening Title
Here you will find the opening title that i have created using the adobe animator programme it is a basic animation using motion and shape tween's to morph the background and create an area in which i can give the example of the animation tools within the programme itself as well as have an opening transition between the live action that the animation was suppose to be linked with.
I was using a drawing tablet for some of the classic animation with the magic wand, cloud detailing and the sun. i thought it came out nicely and works with the film. these are techniques that i picked up at CCAD green lane that have helped create the animation you will find below.
So as you can see above the animation is a quick intro, i tried to make it look like the opening of the programme itself that was mentioned in the script, though i know there was another created by beth with after eefects which is the text being manipulated to form the film title. I am happy with the way that this animation turned out and was then ready to move onto the next piece.
