Hey Presto: Pixie Animation

In the animation that you will find below you will find a stop motion that has been then took into adobe animator to create a cool looking effect. This took quite a lot of time as i wanted the stop motion to stand out, as i was intentionally going to create this part in cut out but i found this to look a lot more professional than cut out, I am very pleased with the out come and was happy to be able to incorporate different forms of multi media to create a more unique looking piece than just the use of stop motion on its own.

The backgrounds used were created out of cardboard and created a more three dimensional looking aesthetic. I much rather prefer this look better out of the cut out before hand.

As you can see from above the materials that were used was wire to use for the skeletons of the characters in which i did have trouble with the girl because of the larger structure, she seemed to fall over a lot in which i decided to incorporate a chair which i hope is not to bad as i was struggling to find a way of keeping her stable without breaking the illusion of the animation. I also used a variety of colours of clay that i used to craft the characters. You will also notice that i have not drawn on or included any of the faces as i knew that i was going to add these post production using adobe animate. I am happy with the way this bit of animation turned out and liked this technique the was used throughout the animation process.
