Step By Step 5: Echo Effect

The echo effect is a rather strange one as it displaces time & creates what looks like holograms. it would be good to show time passing by, a character day by day doing the same job, the same walk every day. i Feel like this is how you could depict that kind of effect. I personally really like this effect i think it could be very useful if used correctly . Moreover the way in which i created this effect was through the echo effect itself on the effect & preset menu.

I selected the echo effect & dragged it over to my clip this brought up several options on the effect panel. My first option was to change the time in which it takes for the clones of myself to follow. The next option was to select how many clones i wanted to follow, i chose four at first, then i went up-to six.

After i was finished tweaking with the settings i then started looking at the echo duration the one above is at minimum & the image above that is at maximum these are the two different effects you can create, there was other options but non of them worked, there was too much light. Below is the finished video displaying the effect.
